About Apex NC

Apex is a diminutive city that is located in Wake County in the state of North Carolina. The city of Apex is situated about 12 miles on the southwestern direction of the city of Raleigh and around 11 miles on the southern direction of the Research Triangle Park. Apex is a fine example of a ‘turn of the century’ railroad city, and its downtown area has being designated as a Historic District. The Apex Train Depot, which was constructed in the late 19th century, is now designated as a Wake County Landmark. The depot’s location marks the tallest point on the old Chatham Railroad, and has earned this North Carolina city the epithet of the ‘Peak of Good Living.’
 
In the pre-colonial epoch, the future site of the city of Apex was home to the Tuscarora Amerindian tribe. In the later 19th century, a small community emerged around the railway station. The forests were in the long run cleared to create more farmland, and were primarily used to cultivate tobacco. In the year 1873, Apex was officially incorporated. By the turn of the century, this North Carolina city boasted of a population of 349, and developed as a trading center due to its close proximity to the capital city of North Carolina; Raleigh.
 
The latest estimate of the city of Apex’s population currently stands at 50,451. This population boom mostly took place in the late 1990s. The Research Triangle Park that was created in the 1960s gave rise to a great demand for technology workers, and steamrolled Apex’s population. The city of Apex started appearing on the ‘best places to live’ lists in the year 2007. By 2015, it had reached the pinnacle of these charts, which also triggered more population growth.

The wine tastings in particular go for a paltry $5, and include sampling all the 5 wines that this vineyard produces.

The Brueprint Brewing Company has the distinction of been the very first hand crafted brewery in the city of Apex. As such, it was founded by Eric Wagner, an engineer and gourmet food enthusiast, along with his family. The Brueprint Brewing Company’s primary objective is allowing visitors to put down their mobile devices, have real conversations and have a fantastic time with their friends and family. This city of Apex attraction provides a wide variety of beers and alcoholic drinks.
